Face Care During Contest Prep: Where an Enzyme Polish and a Face Mask Fit
Prep shows on your face too. Your body gets all the attention during prep, but early cardio, sweat, gym air, and less water in the final stretch all show up on your face as dull, tight skin. Here is a simple plan for face care during contest prep.

Start With Daily Moisture
The everyday part comes first: a moisturizer in the morning and a richer cream at night. We covered that in contest prep skin care. This post is about the two weekly extras.
Where an Enzyme Polish Fits
An enzyme polish takes away the dull, dead surface skin without hard scrubbing. Once or twice a week is plenty. Follow it with your moisturizer.
Where a Face Mask Fits
A face mask is the other weekly extra, once or twice a week. It goes on after your shower, on clean skin. Never in the shower.

A Simple Week of Face Care During Contest Prep
Every day: moisturizer in the morning, richer cream at night
Midweek: enzyme polish
Rest day: face mask, after your shower
When you are starting out, keep the polish and the mask on different days.

Two Rules for the Final Stretch
Nothing new in peak week. Use what your skin already knows.
Your tanning company's instructions come first. Follow their rules about what goes on your skin before your tan.
